Love Genie helps you understand relationship situations and draft messages. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and your rights.

Who we are

Love Genie is operated by Ultra Commercial Ltd. Contact: support@mylovegenie.com.

What we collect

• Account data: email address and authentication identifiers.
• Quiz and relationship data: what you type about yourself, your partner, your relationship dynamics, and the reveal/approach outputs generated from it.
• Payment data: Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, subscription status, plan, renewal period, and cancellation status. Full card details are processed by Stripe, not stored by Love Genie.
• Technical data: device/browser data, IP-derived security/rate-limit data, logs, and product events needed to operate the service.

Special category data

Your inputs may reveal sensitive psychological, emotional, relationship, health, sex-life, or similar information. Under UK GDPR this may include special category data (Article 9). We process it only to provide the Love Genie service you request, keep it secure, and maintain your account. Do not enter information you do not want processed for these purposes.

Why we use it

• To generate and save your free reveal and paid approach-builder outputs.
• To create and restore your account, including anonymous-to-email account upgrades.
• To process £19/month subscriptions, cancellations, refunds, and entitlement checks through Stripe.
• To prevent abuse, debug failures, keep the service secure, and comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases

We process account, quiz, payment, and product data mainly to perform the contract with you and provide the service. We also rely on legitimate interests for security, debugging, fraud prevention, and service improvement. Where your inputs include special category data, we rely on your explicit action of submitting that information for the service and, where required, explicit consent.

Sharing

We use service providers including Supabase for authentication/database, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, and AI/model infrastructure to generate outputs. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep account, subscription, and saved read data while your account is active or as needed for legal/accounting/security reasons. You can ask us to delete your account and associated reads, subject to legal retention requirements.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to processing. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Contact support@mylovegenie.com.

Love Genie is not therapy, legal advice, medical advice, crisis support, or a domestic-abuse safety service. If you feel unsafe, contact local emergency services or specialist support.
